Welcome to Round Two of teething. It is less than pleasant for all parties involved.
Katelyn is into everything! Her eyes sparkle with excitement as she scans the room looking for interesting things to chew. Her crawling has gotten really fast. Luckily, she now understands the meaning of "No!" and stops dead in her tracks when one of us says it. I realize that responsiveness won't last much longer, but I'm grateful for it now. Thank goodness she has an adaptive personality and can be easily diverted.
She has also started using her bright pink walker to get across the room. She's still a little wobbly but is so proud that she can do it with very little assistance from Dave or me.
Katelyn has finally developed a taste for pears and apples. She will eat all vegetables, but her least favorite food is peas. Squash is still her #1 choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
For several weeks now she's been awake and ready to play every morning around 4 a.m. I. Am. Tired. We've tried giving her more to eat before bedtime, letting her stay up later the night before, etc. Nothing has worked, so I'm open to suggestions.
Here are some recent pictures:

She loved collapsing into these pillows! So comfy!
